Elica Le Bon

In a world where tensions run high, the voice of peace often gets drowned out. However, when the voice belongs to an influential figure like Elica Le Bon, it becomes impossible to ignore. The Iranian-American lawyer and social media personality stand against the supporters of the Islamic regime advocating for a war with Israel.

Born in the UK and educated in America, Elica Le Bon has gathered a following of over 300,000 across various social media platforms. Her popularity grows from her ability to connect with audiences and convey powerful messages. Recently, she used this influence to push back against the idea of a war between Iran and Israel.

Le Bon’s anti-war sentiment was expressed in a TikTok video that has since gone viral. The video has amassed over a million views, a testament to its reach and resonance with viewers worldwide.

In her video, she says, “Hi, Iranian woman here. It’s become very apparent that you haven’t been listening to anything that we’ve had to say for the past two years, but I was wondering if you could just lend me a few minutes of your time in this ungodly hour to hear us now.”

Le Bon also used her platform to criticize supporters of the Tehran regime. She condemned their justification of the historic drone and missile attack on Israel as an act of self-defense following an Israeli strike on an Iranian embassy complex in Syria.

She challenges their narrative, asking, “In what capacity have you distorted the story to make the Islamic Republic the victim?”

The lawyer made a clear distinction between the Iranian people and its ruling regime. She stated that the actions of the theocratic government do not reflect the desires of the Iranian populace.

“We’ve been clear about what we want, which is peace,” she stresses.

She took a jab at the pro-Tehran commentators who seemed to ignore the mass protests led by Iranian women seeking reforms. Yet, they were quick to support the attack on Israel.

Le Bon accused the Islamic Republic of Iran of creating “terror proxies” to disturb regional stability. These proxies allegedly include Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and the Houthis in Yemen.

She sarcastically asked, “Did you think they were there to instigate a system of public schooling and education, to feed the poor, house the unhoused? What did you think that they were there for?”.

Despite the political turmoil, Le Bon emphasized that Iranians yearn for peace, not war, with Israel. This sentiment, she stated, has been echoed repeatedly by the Iranian populace.

In the wake of the Iranian attack, the Israeli government is reportedly considering retaliatory measures. However, Israel’s European allies have urged restraint to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
