Samsung Response To Green Line Issue Free Screen Replacement For Galaxy Phones

Samsung is stepping up to rectify an ongoing issue with their Galaxy series. A green line appearing on the screens of certain Galaxy phones has caused a stir among users. Samsung has decided to combat this problem by offering a free one-time screen replacement. However, this generous offer has its limits, as it is currently only available in India for a select range of Galaxy phones.

A niggling issue has been bothering Samsung Galaxy users recently. A mysterious green line has been spotted on the screens of some phones, causing distress and concern for many. This is not a brand-new issue, as there have been reports dating back to the previous year on platforms such as Reddit. However, this problem seems to have intensified lately, with a surge in reports and complaints from Galaxy users.

In response to this annoying issue, Samsung India has taken the initiative to offer a free, one-time screen replacement for users experiencing the green line on their phones. This generous offer is currently available for the Galaxy S20, S21, Note 20, and S22 models.

Samsung is giving Galaxy users a free, one-time display replacement for phones affected by the infamous green line issue. The replacement benefit is only available in India on select Galaxy phones for now. The deadline to claim the offer is April 30, 2024.

While this is a commendable gesture, it’s worth noting that the free replacement policy applies only to devices purchased within the last three years. Furthermore, the devices don’t necessarily have to be under warranty to avail this offer, but there’s a deadline. Users experiencing this issue have until April 30, 2024, to benefit from this offer.

Besides replacing the affected displays, Samsung has also decided to include a free battery replacement as part of the deal. This is a significant addition and shows Samsung’s commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Unfortunately, Samsung’s free screen replacement offer is currently only available in India. The tech giant has been contacted to clarify whether this policy will be extended to other regions.

Samsung has also been asked if there are alternative solutions for devices affected by the green line issue that are not eligible for free replacement. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
