22-year-old Luis Felipe Uribe from Colombia came in tenth with a total score of 423.80. All his jumps were above 65, ensuring a place in the final.
Jonathan Ruvalcaba, a Mexican who is originally known as Dominican, is the first diver from this country to reach an Olympic final in this category. He managed to earn 416.20 points, finishing last in this method.
