A Buenos Aires police officer was arrested for shooting a neighbor in the head after an argument

It all happened on Sunday when a person called 911 and warned that a man was lying on the street with a gunshot wound to the head at the intersection of Rosales and El Hornero streets, in that town in the southern area of ​​Greater Buenos Aires. Aires.

Police officers went to the scene and the person who filed the complaint explained that the injured man, a 27-year-old young man, had had an exchange of words with the police officer and his partner.

Given this scenario, the suspect, with the initials RB, was arrested, while the troops continue the search for the man known as “The Puppy.”

At the police station it was confirmed that the woman is 26 years old and works at the 6th Almirante Brown-Claypole Police Station.

At the moment it had not been established exactly who of the two involved fired the shot, but witnesses to the incident maintain that the murderer used a Bersa Mini Thunder Pro pistol, the agent’s regulation weapon.

The young man who was shot remained hospitalized at the “Dr. Arturo Oñativia” Hospital, in Rafael Calzada, with a reserved prognosis due to the severity of the injury caused by the shot to the head.

Since the arrest of the policewoman, the agents have been intensely searching for her partner.

The case was left in the hands of the Fiscal Instruction Unit (UFI) number 4, led by prosecutor Silvina Alejandra Estévez.

The instructor ordered the arrest of the police for the crime of “attempted homicide” and ordered tests on the service weapon used.
