Netflix celebrated a few minutes ago the DROP 01a virtual event in which he has made a lot of announcements related to his upcoming animated series such as Castlevania: Nocturno or Devil May Cry.
Among the announcements has been a surprise, since the American company has announced Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Crofta new animated series of which we have the first trailer little more than a minute long that you can see below:
Powerhouse Animation will be in charge of the animation of this new Tomb Raider series
With this new animated series Tomb Raider grows even more as a franchise. At the moment we don’t have too many details although Netflix has already announced that is being produced by Legendary Television (The Drops of God, Carnival Row, Lost in Space), while the animation will be handled by Powerhouse Animation, the same study behind Castlevania, Six Hands either Blood of Zeus who has also worked in the world of video games on projects such as Epic Mickey, DC Universe Online, Mortal Kombat X or Sonic Origins.
With this new series, the Tomb Raider franchise continues to strengthen its presence outside the world of video games with its numerous adaptations to the world of cinema and, in fact, Amazon is also preparing a new series, although this time with real actors.
