A fight between two taxi drivers ended with a motorcyclist being run over in Palermo

The video went viral on social networks and a case for injuries was opened due to the incident, but no arrests have been made.

The event occurred on September 16 at the intersection of Gorriti and Thame streets, in front of the Mattarello restaurant, but the images became known in the last few hours.

There you can see how both drivers argue loudly until they start hitting each other.

The confrontation took place around 5:50 in the morning.

One of the taxi drivers got angry because the other apparently cut in front of traffic to “steal” a passenger who was waiting for a bus.

The other people approached to calm the situation and at that moment one of the protagonists returned to his car with the aim of leaving.

Despite his intention, the other man chased him and tried to hit the driver’s window, which caused a motorcyclist passing by to be run over and injured.

Then, the taxi driver got out of the vehicle to assist the victim, but the subjects who were circulating in the area scolded him and hit him.

City Police officers went to the scene and found one of the drivers and the motorcyclist on the bike lane, where the accident occurred.

The SAME referred the affected person to the Rivadavia Hospital, located at 2670 Las Heras Avenue, in the Recoleta neighborhood, where the victim was diagnosed with multiple trauma, without risk of life.

The images were recorded by a witness who filmed the incident with his cell phone.

The two taxi drivers were driving a Renault and a Fiat, respectively.

Justice classified the case as “injuries”, but so far there have been no arrests.
