A new report reveals that more users are Android which are passed to Applewhile fewer have the apple mobile switch to the operating system of the competition.
Specifically, the study of CIRP points out that 15% of new iPhone buyers used an Android phone before; while only 4% of new Android buyers previously owned an Apple.
The ‘envy’ indicated in the report is based on the level of loyalty that mobile phone buyers have to stay in their system before migrating to the competition.
However, there is another revealing fact. The study also adds that 91% of Android users decide to stay on that system; while 94% of iPhone users prefer to stay at Apple.
“Therefore, 9% of those who have an Android mobile actually want an iPhone, which has not been purchased for whatever reason; because you can’t afford it, or for other factors”, reports The Free Android of The Spanish.
It should be remembered that the iPhone does not sell as much as Androids due to its high price, but in turn, this condition gives them a certain status and is therefore more desired by some users.
“Apple has achieved that the iPhone is more than a mobile, that has become an object to show off, such as a luxury watch or a car. But it has failed miserably every time it has tried to expand by lowering the price of its products (such as the iPhone Mini).”, reinforces the media.
For its part, Android is improving its compatibility and interconnection and as a solution it would have the Pixel, which, like Apple, intends to expand with the Pixel Tablet, Pixel Watch, Android Auto and Google TV.
