This Monday, Variety released the exclusive that —based on what they heard from reliable sources— HBO is holding discussions regarding raising a series about the conquest of Westeros; the fictional continent created by the novelist George RR Martin, where a large part of the events of his literary universe take place, including those that have already been brought to the small screen in previous adaptations.
To do this, it will be necessary to travel to the years prior to the beginning of the era in which the stories of game of Thrones and House of the Dragon; that is to say, when Aegon I Targaryen —fleeing from the fall of Valyria— arrived together with his sister wives Visenya and Rhaenys to the coasts of Westeros; a potential territory over which to claim absolute dominion, with the help of more than fifteen hundred soldiers and three dragons at his disposal.
