Unmarked drone crashed in Tula region

In the Odoevsky district of the Tula region, a drone “without identification marks and departmental affiliation” fell, the regional committee on regional security said.

According to local authorities, the fallen drone was found on March 19 between the settlements of Petrivske and Malovel. The drone crashed in a field away from residential buildings.

Emergency services have been dispatched to the scene. It is argued that there is no threat to the security of the population and infrastructure.

On March 2, near the village of Berezovsky in the Tula region, a crater from an explosion with a diameter of about one and a half meters was discovered. As the press service of the government of the region reported, the funnel could have appeared as a result of the fall of a drone.

In late February and early March, reports of drone crashes came from various regions of Russia, including the Belgorod Region, the Krasnodar Territory, Adygea, the Moscow Region, and the Crimea.
