The PSOE has once again charged against the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, in an editorial published on the party’s website. The Socialists assure that in Madrid “you can no longer dress, love or profess the religion you want”. A change that, according to them, has been brewing for years through a «hate ideology that it has been latent in the wealthy neighborhoods around Paseo de la Castellana” and that “it emerged with the extreme right” and the arrival of Isabel Díaz Ayuso to the Presidency of the Community of Madrid.
In this sense, the PSOE believes that the «Perfect storm» is unleashed when those who think atrocities, although they do not dare to say them outside the home, see them on television coming from political leaders saying «those ugly things».
In this context, the socialists also criticize the mayor, José Luis Martínez-Almeidaassuring that his political weight is “as irrelevant as his skill with the soccer ball”, and also makes the president of the community ugly for having made “the populism of bracelet its greatest asset. With them, he assures him, “nothing good could happen to Madrid.”
Likewise, in the aforementioned editorial, it is anticipated that in the coming weeks they will be making review of other territories that “they also need urgent change.” On this occasion, they focus on the capital and explain that Madrid has been a welcoming and vibrant city for decades “that did not close the door to anyone, and breathed the aroma of tolerance day and night.”
