The President of the Republic regretted this Sunday the death of businessman Rui Nabeiro, who had the opportunity to visit him in the hospital this Saturday, in the late afternoon.
“Rui Nabeiro was a forerunner, he built a global brand, like there are few in our country, always keeping his headquarters and the heart of his activity in Campo Maior, the land where he was born and where he leaves a generous legacy”, says the note from the Presidency of the Republic.
Marcelo adds that, in an economically and socially challenging time, the example of the entrepreneur, “in his social concern and civic participation, with the community and with the country”, “should be an example and an inspiration for all those who can give back to society a little of what it has given them.”
Businessman Rui Nabeiro, founder of Grupo Nabeiro – Delta Cafés, died this Sunday at the age of 91, a victim of illness, at Hospital da Luz, in Lisbon, a source for the group told Lusa.
