Parma, the car ends up in a ditch: Sara dies at the age of 22, her brother is serious

The road accident in Sissa Trecasali, in the province of Parma: a 22-year-old girl, Sara Loiero, died. The car in which she was traveling with her brother ended up in a ditch on the side of the road.

A twenty-two-year-old girl has lost her life and her brother is hospitalized in serious condition. It is the dramatic balance sheet of a car accident took place yesterday evening, Saturday 18 March, in Borgonovo, a hamlet in the lower Parma area.

The young woman who died in the accident was called Sara Loiero: originally from Crucoli Torretta, a town in the province of Crotone, she had been living in Sissa (Parma) for a few months. Sara had moved to Emilia last September with her parents and her brother who was in the car with her last night.

The boy, slightly older than the victim, was injured and is currently under observation at the Maggiore hospital in Parma: he suffered serious injuries but fortunately his life would not be in danger.

The dynamics of the road accident, which took place around 8 pm on Saturday, are still to be clarified: due to circumstances being investigated by the carabinieri of the Fidenza company, the car in which the two boys were traveling would be went off the road and plunged into a ditch at high speed at the side of the road and rolling over.

The alarm went off immediately and the ambulances of San Secondo and Colorno rushed to the scene. But for the 22-year-old there was nothing to do: Sara died after emergency hospitalization in the intensive care unit of the Parma hospital.

Following the tragic accident the Municipality of Crucoli has proclaimed the city mourning: “The entire administration expresses its condolences to the Loiero family. All citizens, associations with all other social organizations are invited to autonomously express their participation in the city’s mourning, as a sign of recollection and respect for what happened”, the message from the municipal administration.

There are also many memories on social media: “A sad day for Torretta, with a father and mother who today will not have the joy of their children next to them, in the certainty of never being able to embrace their young Sara again, while the other son struggles to live. Condolences to the Loiero family for this dark day like the most infinite night”.
