Kraft flies to victory in Vikersund, Raw Air to Granerud

In Sunday’s ski flying in Vikersund, the man from Salzburg put Halvor Egner Granerud in his place by 7.6 points. The Norwegian, who secured the overall World Cup before the competition (More >>>), also wins the Raw Air.

Kraft impresses in the first run with an unbelievable leap to 246.5 meters, but grabs the snow when landing. With a flight of 235.5 meters in the second round, he catches Granerud, who was the leader at half-time, from the lead.

Slovenia’s Anze Lanisek came in third (-28.6). Michael Hayboeck just missed the podium as fourth (-29.8). Daniel Tschofenig (9th) and Jan Hörl (10th) round off a strong ÖSV result. Manuel Fettner ends up in 18th place.
