Bruce Willis was born on March 19, 1955 in Idar-Oberstein. The eldest of the four children of an American military man and a German housewife did not have time to remember Germany: when the future actor turned two, the family moved to Carnis Point, New Jersey.
The boy was shy, and when he was worried, he stuttered badly. To get rid of the problem, Bruce signed up for a theater group. The disadvantage evaporated, but the student soon realized that he likes to keep the attention of the audience.
