The SV Ried has completed the basic round of the football Bundesliga in the penultimate place. The Innviertlers drew 0-0 against WAC in front of their home crowd on Sunday and thus scored one more point from the first 22 rounds than bottom Altach, who fought a 1-1 draw at Red Bull Salzburg. The Wolfsbergers ended the first phase of the season with only three points more than Ried in ninth place.

But they came very close to equalizing in the 62nd minute: after Malone had done the right work, substitute Nikolas Veratschnig fired well over the crossbar on the fifth, pressured by Rieder drew attention (47th), in the finish they missed two good opportunities for their first home win since mid-October of the previous year.
