During the shelling of Donetsk by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU), one of the shells hit the Galaktika shopping center (TC). This was announced by the mayor of the city Alexei Kulemzin in his Telegram-channel.
Referring to the words of eyewitnesses, the head of the settlement also spoke about the arrivals on Shchipachev Street and in the Tikhiy microdistrict. Kulemzin added that one civilian was injured during the shelling. “As a result of the shelling of the Petrovsky district on Fedorovsky Street, a man born in 1979 was injured,” the mayor specified.
Since the morning of March 19, Petrovsky district of Donetsk has been shelled five times by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from NATO artillery of 155 mm caliber. In addition to the Galaktika shopping center, one private and one apartment building were damaged.
A man who had previously come under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine died in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk. He was mortally wounded while he was driving a car along Semashko Avenue. It is noted that several buildings were destroyed in the area, among them a multi-storey residential building and a store.
