The unscrupulous actions of a group of young people, yesterday morning in the center of La Plata, resulted in eight of them -aged between 14 and 24 years old- ending up being apprehended minutes later by the Police after a complaint anonymous made to 911.
This was announced by police spokesmen, who specified that they are accused of having caused destruction to a car that was parked on Calle 6 between 49 and 50.
CAUGHT ON CAMERAS
After being warned about what was happening there, members of that jurisdiction quickly appeared at the scene.
They immediately verified what they had been told: a vehicle had broken windows and evidence of other significant damage.
Immediately, the officers saw the group of rioters, whom – it was indicated – they were able to quickly intercept and arrest despite the fact that some of them put up a stubborn resistance.
Likewise, it was reported that the violent behavior of these young people had been observed from the municipal Monitoring Center (COM), through the images recorded by the security cameras.
TO THE POLICE STATION
After identifying the arrested group, they were transferred to the first police station.
In this section, they opened actions labeled “damage and resistance to authority.” The reason why the detained youths carried out the vandalism against the vehicle in question was not disclosed.
