Dead Lance Reddick, Halle Berry: “I will never forget his first hug on the set of John Wick”

With a message via Instagram, Halle Berry recalled her friend and colleague Lance Reddick, who died last March 17 at the age of 60: “His sweet energy lit up every room he was in”. Together they shared the set of the third chapter of John Wick.

It is with a post published on Instagram that Halle Berry wanted to send her condolences to the actor’s families and remember the time they spent together, especially the first time their paths crossed on the set of the third film in the saga of John Wick, with Keanu Reeves, where she plays the character of Sofia. These are the words of the actress on social media, accompanied by a shot of Reddick:

I send my deepest condolences to the family and all who knew and loved Lance. I’ll never forget the huge smile and heartfelt hug Lance gave me as I walked onto the set of John Wick for the first time. His gentle, sweet energy lit up every room he was in and his heart was bigger than anything!

Lance Reddick’s career

The actor was found dead in his home on March 17. He was 60 years old. The American site TMZ gave the news, which however does not provide further details regarding the last days of his life. On social media he had published a video in which he was at home instead of at the premiere of John Wick 4, a film in the saga on which he had worked, without explaining the reasons for his absence from him. Throughout his career, Reddick has taken part in numerous films and TV series, such as Law & Order, The Wire (which made him famous), Lost. As for the big screen, in addition to the John Wick saga, he has starred in some projects not yet distributed to the public, such as the Disney + series entitled Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
