Carpenter's Day and Men's Day Why are they commemorated and in which countries?

Men’s Day

Also every March 19 in countries like Colombia, Bolivia and Honduras, Men’s Day is commemorated. The celebration of this date is also related to Saint Joseph, but it coincides with his celebration of Father’s Day.

International Men’s Day is November 19 and was established in 1992 in the United States, by Thomas oasterdirector of the Center for Men’s Studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas.

This day aims to address issues such as men’s health, highlighting the positive role and contributions men make in their community and society, promoting gender equality, peace, non-violence, equity, tolerance and understanding.

Because it is associated with health, the commemoration of Men’s Day was supported by UNESCO’s Women and Culture of Peace Program, by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and by the World Health Organization (WHO).
