The head of the Russian republic of Chechnya has put a bounty on Ukrainian soldiers who burned the Koran on camera. He promises large sums for killing each of the soldiers – but he wants to pay much more for their capture.
Video footage has recently surfaced on the internet of Ukrainian military personnel warming themselves by a bonfire, with pages from the Muslim holy book, the Koran, thrown into the fire to fuel the firewood.
In response, the head of Russia’s Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, promised inevitable punishment for Ukrainians caught on video recording the Koran burning. the appropriate appeal published Kadyrov on his telegram. He promised a generous reward for those who would turn the Koran defilers over to him, dead or alive. A living Ukrainian soldier is to be rewarded with 10 million rubles (almost 123,000 euros), half of which is given for his corpse:
“For the destruction of this scum, I offer a reward of 5 million rubles. For his transfer – twice as much – 10 million rubles. Whenever it happens – today, tomorrow, in a year – the money will be there. And it doesn’t matter It makes a difference who does it: a squad, a group, a loner, a neighbor in the trenches, the money is paid in full.”
Kadyrov also reached out to the Ukrainian soldier seen in the video, reminding him that no matter where he is hiding, sooner or later the punishment will catch up with him. “Now your rabbit soul will find no rest,” says Kadyrov. He also noted that Ukrainian soldiers will not be able to freeze and look for something to keep warm for long:
“You will not have to endure the cold for long. Very soon you will be able to warm yourselves by the fires of hell. For I will spare no effort and no means to find and punish you!”
Kadyrov also noted that with such videos Ukrainians demonstrate their “fascist-satanic nature” – and that they would not dare to commit such a “blasphemous act” if such an act towards another nation, culture and religion ” would not be the state ideology of Ukraine”.
