Teens beat up 15-year-old boy and rob him

A 15-year-old was kicked, hit and robbed by a group of young people in Mannheim. He was traveling with a friend when five to seven young people called and followed them, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

One of the group, who was estimated by witnesses to be between 16 and 18 years old, is said to have hit the 15-year-old several times in the face and pushed him to the ground. There he was kicked and beaten by the same perpetrator, and a black shoulder bag was stolen from him, it said. Passers-by were eventually able to stop the attack on Friday night, but the group escaped undetected. The teenager suffered a bruised jaw and bruises on his face, his girlfriend was unharmed.
