The National Emergency Operations Center (COEN) indicated that a probable emergency is being monitored in the district of Punta Hermosa due to the rupture of a natural water reservoir, which could generate a avalanche.

Hours before, the Municipality of Punta Hermosa issued an evacuation alert due to the arrival of a avalanche.
