The decision to return and change the business model to a more “modern” one may be interesting for some readers, but the new Playboy does not promise a revolution, but rather tries to imitate the competition from which he wanted to cut himself off.

The comparison to OnlyFans, a website with erotic content, where you get access to materials for a certain fee, is not accidental here. A similar method of content distribution will be used by the new Playboy, which is changing from a magazine into a digital platform for creators. Next, Playboy is to aspire to something that can be called a magazine, but this one will only be available in digital form. However, it is possible that it will also be available in print in a limited number. You will have to pay a monthly fee for access to the digital version of the Playboy platform, but there will be something else. The company is to put more emphasis on giving creators a place to publish their materials. Some of the models’ photos will be available in the magazine, but behind-the-scenes photos or additional content will be available on separate profiles. And these will of course be paid. Sounds like OnlyFans?
