The Golden Mile of Playa de las Américas has hosted this afternoon the Announcing Parade of the International Carnival of The Christians, with which the festive acts of this event open, which is held again three years after the pandemic, when it had to be suspended when the state of alarm was declared. More than 1,100 people have made the tour, including comparsas, groups, choreographic groups and typical characters.
The parade is one of the most touristy events of the Carnival, which is why it is held on the so-called Golden Mile, between the Gala Shopping Center, on Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina, and the Oasis Shopping Center, on Avenida de Las Américas. The tour began around 7:00 p.m. In the last edition, the participation of around 1,400 visitors was recorded.
The Los Cristianos International Carnival officially began yesterday, Friday, with the opening of an exhibition by photographer Laly González at the Los Cristianos Cultural Center, where it will remain until March 31.
For its part, tomorrow, Sunday, the Meeting of Murgas de Tenerife will take place, which will bring together the most awarded of the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2023 contest in the festivities.
