From Piantedosi directive to the prefect of Naples Palomba: intensify control activities in the areas adjacent to the railway station.
It is defined “malamovida” but in reality it is that petty delinquency that gravitates around railway stations, places of passage but also of “easy victims” for the predatory crime of robberies, pickpocketing and assaults.
Today the Ministry of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosihe wrote to the prefect of Naples Claudius Palomba (also at the UTGs in Rome and Milan) to provide a directive: that of intensifying control activities in the areas adjacent to railway stations“ensuring a strengthened and visible presence of the police forces and offering a more effective response to the need for protection in areas where the perception of insecurity is widespread”.
Therefore, an intensification of controls will await us in the days before Easter in Piazza Garibaldi and surrounding areas (via Rosaroll, Corso Garibaldi, via Firenze, Corso Arnaldo Lucci, via Poerio, Corso Umberto).
In particular, on the basis of the indications provided by the owner of the Viminale, the prefects, integrating the coordinated control plans of the territory by the police forces, will have to activate specific surveillance devices in these areas with the aim of making them more permanently secure and thus return them to full usability by the reference communities.
The note reads:
With the availability of the mayors concerned, further involvement of the local police must be envisaged and at the same time the commitment of the Guardia di Finanza must be enhanced in terms of the economic-financial assessment action against the activity managers.
What does it mean? That there will be seizures of counterfeit stallsa phenomenon that is quite present in the Vasto area of Naples: the fake of every item of clothing is sold, from the best-known sports brands (Nike and Adidas) to those such as Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and those of leather goods and accessories such as Yves Saint Laurent, all strictly fake.
These are extraordinary territorial control services that have seen the use of personnel from the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza, with the collaboration of the local Police and the assistance of other entities (ASL, Inspectorates of the work, municipal companies), and have made it possible to increase the prevention and repression of the various forms of illegality.
