And the second stage of the Hay Equipo program arrived. Registration is already underway and is open for children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 17 whose mothers, fathers or guardians receive the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) in sports activities and free health checks.
The initiative of the Ministries of Tourism and Sports and of Health in conjunction with the ANSES guarantees access to various sports practices throughout the country, covering the cost of it in the registered clubs. Besides, Through mobile health devices that will travel through the institutions, comprehensive health checks will be carried out on those who access the Program
“Hay Equipo is much more than a sports policy, it is a comprehensive and social policy. We are democratizing access to sport, making the clubs available to a lot of boys and girls who otherwise would not be able to attend. This program helps build a fairer Argentina”said the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Matías Lammens.
To participate, they will have to be registered by their mother, father or guardian, holders of the AUH, and choose the activity of their choice within the available offer.. If the requirements are met, the scholarship will be awarded.
Meanwhile, sports institutions that wish to participate by adding their offer of activities can also do so. Documentation proving the regular operation of the entity must be presented and make available to the program vacancies in all or some of the activities carried out in the club.
Thus, Hay Equipo joins the comprehensive strategy of which Clubs in Work, the Energy Subsidy, the Assistance Unit and training are part, with the aim of continuing to accompany clubs throughout the country, constituting in turn an innovative social policy to promote access to sports at the federal level.
