Freudenberg (D)“For us, the world stands still” – Luise’s parents publish an obituary
Twelve-year-old Luise from Freudenberg was killed by two girls last weekend. The city in Rhineland-Palatinate is in shock.
The parents of the dead Luise (12) published an obituary in the Saturday edition of the “Siegener Zeitung”. “You can’t see grief, you can’t hear it – you can only feel it,” the ad said. And further: «There are no words to understand the incomprehensible. For us, the world stands still.”
In addition, the parents announce a memorial service. This will take place next Wednesday at 6 p.m. in a close personal circle in the Evangelical Church in Freudenberg. “We ask for your understanding that the family and friends would like to accompany Luise there in peace on her last trip,” write the parents.
In the Esther Bejarano comprehensive school there should also be the opportunity to say goodbye from 6 p.m. Luise is in the 7th grade there. A book of condolences is also available in the church in Freudenberg, which is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Revenge as a motive?
Luise had been missing since Saturday evening (March 11), on Sunday her body was discovered in an impassable forest area just behind the Rhineland-Palatinate state border. On Monday, investigators said the 12-year-old had been killed.
The next day they said that a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old are suspects. In particular, the young age of the suspects caused shock. In Germany, young people aged 14 and over are considered to be of criminal responsibility.
Luise is said to have been bullied before the crime. Apparently, Luise confidently turned to adults about the bullying. That could have been her undoing. Apparently, the perpetrators wanted revenge.
