The Banking Association (AB), the business chambers Abappra, Adeba and ABA and the Central Bank (BCRA) agreed yesterday at the Ministry of Labor on a salary increase for workers in the sector, who will benefit from a recognition of parity 2022 of 0 .7% and an improvement of 32.5% until next May, after arduous negotiations that included a national strike.
The union led by Sergio Palazzo reported in a statement that the workers will receive a 0.7% recognition on the conventional negotiation of 2022 and a salary increase of 32.5% for the parity this year.
Palazzo and the Press Secretary, Claudio Bustelo, reported that the increase will include all the extras and will be paid 6% retroactive to January 1, 13.1% from February, 24.1% from March and, from next May, 32.5%, all of which will be applied to the salaries in force as of last December, the leaders indicated.
The agreement included the implementation of “the universality of the nursery from this month”, so that the initial salary and the participation in Profits (ROE) will imply a total of 254,318.11 pesos for the month of January; for February 271,352.63 pesos; for March 297,744.12 pesos and, for next May, 317,897.64 pesos, reported the union.
