A kamikaze driver spread panic on Friday night in the TF-5after joining it in the opposite direction to the exit of the service station the bohíoat the height of La Matanza de Acentejo.
As a consequence of this negligence, the driver collided with two vehicles and two people were slightly injuredas confirmed by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The injured were transferred to the Hospiten Bellevue University Hospital after being treated first by the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC).
The driver was apparently under the influence of alcohol.
Highway personnel from the Cabildo de Tenerife were in charge of clearing the road and Civil Guard agents instructed the corresponding proceedings.
