The funeral service for the mother and three daughters who were allegedly shot dead by their father and ex-husband took place at the Reformed Church in Yverdon on Friday. Many children, parents and teachers who knew the three girls were present. Firefighters and residents also attended.

People mourned not only in the church, but also on the square in front of about 200 people listened to a broadcast. «Anger, injustice, horror, hate, misunderstanding, love, friendship, tenderness, beauty. All these feelings and emotions are inherent in you », say the pastors Anne-Christine Rapin and Laurence Huhnblust-Pidoux, like the newspapers of the «Tamedia» write.

The mother recently traveled to London to celebrate her 40th birthday to hear a concert by Patrick Bruel. One of his songs was played at the celebration. The text reads: “She’s gone. I’m looking for her everywhere, nobody’s there anymore.” The Yverdon woman was described as a “sunny, radiant woman”. Every year, she and the three girls spent the holidays together with their parents and brother in the warm. They celebrated last Christmas in Cancún, Mexico.

All three daughters loved horses

The eldest daughter (13) always spread a good mood, says one of her friends. «You made inconspicuous moments unique and joyful. We will think of you every day.” Like her other sisters, she was very enthusiastic about horseback riding. She also liked to paint.

Those present remember the second daughter (9) as “a funny, lovely little girl”. She took part in pony competitions and was on the way to entering the big league. «A big heart and a lot of friendliness. You always had a token of affection for everyone. You felt the need to hug us tightly, »say her teachers.

«Little cuddly mouse, so beautiful, radiant and clever. Your big smile lit up your face. We hope that where you are you will find very nice colored felt-tip pens to draw rainbows and ponies », say the teachers of the youngest daughter (5). She loved sweets, ice cream and ponies. After the public funeral service, the family said goodbye to the closest circle, according to “Tamedia”.
