Valleseco

The Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will resume next Monday the assembly of the north pedestrian walkway to access the Charcos de Valleseco area, the first of the two included in the project for the Charcos Zone. Located close to the Cidemat facilities, it will be 70 meters long and will connect the TF-11 with the future Zona de Charcos.

The assembly works of the corresponding formwork will be carried out between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., so it will be necessary to close the Port Service Road to traffic in the section between Muelle Norte and El Bufadero.

In addition to reinforcing signage in the work area, the thickness of the pavement has been lowered in the section where said formwork will be installed, actions that increase safety measures and which, added to the adjustment of the formwork itself, allows control to be established. gauge at 4.50 meters.

Puertos de Tenerife applies this reinforcement in security and control measures after a truck skipped the established gauge controls on February 16 and collided with the formwork of the north walkway. To try to alleviate the registered month of delay, a second formwork has been acquired for the south pedestrian walkway, about 100 meters long, and it will start the following Monday.
