The Slovak government approved the transfer of 13 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine

Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger said that the Slovak government has approved sending 13 MiG-29 fighter jets to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Vladimir Zelensky asked for more weapons, including fighter jets, I said we would do our best. Glad others are doing the same. Military assistance is the key to ensuring that Ukraine can protect itself and all of Europe from Russia,” declared Prime Minister of Slovakia on Twitter.

How notes the Slovak publication Novi Chas, the government also decided, in addition to the MiG-29, to donate the Kub air defense system to Ukraine.
