The complaint that the national State presented yesterday against Edesur for “fraud, abandonment of person and obstruction of public services” fell to the court of Julián Ercolinithe federal judge questioned for having been part of the entourage of magistrates, businessmen and officials who met at the mansion that Joe Lewis, Mauricio Macri’s close friend, has in Lago Escondido.
The appointment of Ercolini at the head of a case that may lead to the rescission of the concession of the Italian capital company it was by lottery made this morning in the office of the Buenos Aires Federal Chamber.
According to the system, the lucky one was the number that referred to the Federal Court 11which since the death of Claudio Bonadio replaces Ercolini.
Ercolini’s causes
Ercolini is a judge through whose hands passed cause of political significance and in which the scales always tipped to the same side. He is currently charged with his trip to Lago Escondido, but he was also questioned about his involvement in various processes. It was he who ordered the arrest of the owners of C5N, Cristóbal López and Fabián de Souza; in the cause Newsprint he refused to investigate the directors of La Nación and Clarín; and also has under its orbit the investigation into the death of the prosecutor Alberto Nisman.
Among other causes, he was also in charge of a section of the investigation by the attack on AMIAthe business of tolls where the Macri government favored a company from the Macri Group, and also led the cause for the illegal espionage to judges, political and social leaders, and journalists during the Macrista administration.
The complaint against Edesur
The complaint against Edesur that Ercolini will now have to process was presented yesterday by the head of the National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE), Walter Martello, against the directors of Edesur: Francesco Tutoli, head of the company Enel Argentina; and the president, Juan Carlos Blanco.
Also against those who appear as members of its board of directors: Víctor Díaz Bobillo, María Alejandra Martínez, Mónica Diskin, Jaime Barba and Alejandro Martínez, among others.
The writing reveals different episodes in which the controlling entity summoned the company so that the necessary precautions are taken to avoid interruption of service.
It also reflects claims of people electrodependent that they did not get responses on time to the cuts, and evidence of service requests by users that were not even read by Edesur is attached, among other irregularities.
The complaint was made by the ENRE after a request from the Secretary of Energywhich also required him to submit the report on the status of the concession to the Bicameral Monitoring Commission for Public Services Concessionsin order to advise if it is appropriate to terminate it.
