Tomorrow the seventh edition of Woodlands Barbecue Fest in Panama Pacifico! This event, which began as a gathering between neighbors and friends seven years ago, It has become a tradition in the community and extends to the entire city. The event will take place tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, andin the Trillo Tití area from 12 pm to 7 pm
The main objective of the event is to unite families and friends around barbecue gastronomy and offer a fun and exciting experience. In this edition, 19 teams will compete for the title of Grand Champion in the chicken, brisket and ribs categories. In addition, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite hamburger and award a special prize.
The organizers hope to exceed attendee expectations with a wide variety of food, drink and entertainment options. In addition to the skills, there will be live music with DJ’s and a surprise artist, food trucks, beverage stations and various stands. Attendees will also be able to taste the meats of the participating teams and receive a free choripán with their entry.
Kenneth Lall, one of the organizers, expressed his enthusiasm for the seventh edition and the growth that the event has had since its creation. “We want them to get to know this attraction and spend some time with their family,” she added.
The event will take place in the summer this year, so the organizers suggest that attendees wear a cap or hator, sunscreen and folding chairs to enjoy the day outdoors and in nature. Pets are welcome and children under 10 years old do not pay admission.
