“For the last 10 years, I have traveled our beautiful country hundreds of times. I have played thousands of concerts for you in large cities, towns and villages. These 10 years have been very important to me. I have met many wonderful people on my way, who inspired me with their positive thinking and many talents me to work even harder and more persistent. It was with you that I built my success over these 10 years. I remember all those who showed me their support and on whom I can count. I will not let you down,” declared Teresa Werner at the time.
The star also added: “In retrospect, I know for sure that starting a solo artistic career was the best decision of my life.”
The next year was equally busy for the Silesian star. In 2022, she was on tour and released, among others, song clip “Let’s not waste a day”.
Recently, because on Valentine’s Day, she wrote about a new song “Is This Love”: “Love is sometimes difficult. It requires sacrifices. It is also extremely beautiful. It is unique. It is the meaning of our existence.”
Teresa Werner, called the icon of the Silesian song, made her debut as a 16-year-old in Song and Dance Ensemble “Śląsk”with whom she has performed all over the world. She appeared, among others on Broadway and at Carnegie Hall in New York.
– At the age of 16, I also had to start a very responsible adult life, combining school with work. We were a showcase of culture from Poland, that was obligatory. The team “Śląsk” was perceived as something unimaginably elitist. We all felt that our work was unique. We did our best. I had the honor to work in this great team for 32 years and 8 months. I didn’t even notice when the time flew by – she recalled in an interview with Interia.
In 2011, she began her solo career by releasing an album “Make dreams come true” promoted single “Love is beautiful” (check!).
In a short time, Werner gained considerable popularity in Silesia, regularly winning the title of the performer of the year of the regional TVS television.
The singer’s greatest hits include: “I would give you”, “Love is beautiful”, “Happy Together” (listen!), “I love my sea” (listen!), “Make dreams come true” (listen!), “You have to start living” and “Love is not fun”. Music videos for these songs have collected several million views.
At the beginning of October 2020, the program appeared on Polo TV “Concert of wishes with Teresa Werner”. Together with Teresa Werner, it is run by the presenter of Polo TV – Maciej Smolinski.
He has been Teresa’s husband since 2010 Wieslaw Werner. The singer from her first marriage has a daughter, Joanna. In the music video for the song “Happy for Two” we can admire the singer and her husband in the scenery of the Moszna Castle.

I never stopped, although sometimes it was hard, my innate optimism didn’t let me think that it couldn’t be otherwise but good. Crises come and go. You can’t think negatively all the time, because in this way we don’t allow this good aura to enter us. Sometimes I lacked strength, then I drew from the reserves and went forward. Without my strong character and consistency in what I do, I would not be where I am today – Teresa Werner presents her philosophy.
Teresa Werner’s best-kept secret is her real age – fans constantly speculate on this subject online. On March 10, 2017, the singer’s birthday concert took place in Bieruń, but it is not known whether that is the exact anniversary of her birth.
