The police arrested a 27-year-old woman in a Lübeck pharmacy who had presented a fake prescription there. During the search of the young woman, prescription drugs and other counterfeit prescriptions with a three-digit value were found, a police spokeswoman said on Friday. The 27-year-old was temporarily arrested.
The pharmacist reported to the police on Thursday that a customer was trying to fill a counterfeit prescription for an anesthetic. During a search of her apartment, the officers seized further forged prescription forms and large quantities of psychotropic and other drugs.
In the course of the investigation, the officials found that the suspect had already submitted fake prescriptions to an online pharmacy last summer.
