The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, promised five million rubles for the “liquidation” and 10 million for the “capture alive” of a participant in a video in which a man in military uniform burns the pages of the Koran. The “Caucasian Knot” paid attention to Kadyrov’s message.
“I will not limit myself to a dry condemnation of the act of the Ukrainian evil spirits, which recently burned the pages of the Holy Quran. Whenever it happens – today, tomorrow, in a year, the money will be waiting. And no matter who does it: a platoon, a group, a loner, a neighbor in the trench, the money will be transferred in full, ” wrote the head of Chechnya in his telegram channel.
On the video that Kadyrov published the day before, a man in a military uniform, similar to the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is seen lighting a fire with the pages of the Koran.
The Caucasian Knot writes that the video was originally published on March 15 in the TikTok account of user partic55. After Kadyrov’s reaction, the video was removed. According to the publication, social network users considered this video staged, pointing to an unnatural tone of voice, the absence of faces in the frame and the use of Russian words in Ukrainian speech. In particular, one of the participants in the video says, “Boys, can you light a fire?” (in Ukrainian “bonfire” – “bagattya”).
One of the leaders of the self-proclaimed Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Akhmed Zakaev named video “provocation of the Russian special services.”
