According to the newspaper ‘El País’, Rafael Amargo was arrested again by the Police and transferred to a police station on Thursday night. He has been in Alicante, at the end of a function. The popular cantaor is accused of selling toxic, psychotropic and narcotic substances.
Apparently, the police had been following his movements for several months. The authorities were watching his house on Espíritu Santo street in Madrid, after complaints from several of his neighbors. A bass in which he would be carrying out this illegal activity.
The agents were able to verify the enormous movement of people in the house. In addition, his phone was tapped and confirmed that appointments were made for the delivery of these substances in exchange for money.
In fact, they say that he would have moved to other tourist apartments in the capital after realizing that they were following in his footsteps. But even this has not prevented the artist from finally being captured.
Recidivist
However, this is not the first time. At the end of 2020, in the midst of the global Coronavirus pandemic, Amargo -along with his partner and two other people- were arrested as part of Operation Codax for a similar crime.
