Suspect presented himself to the police station and returned the item signed by the star of the Brazilian team; arrest takes place within the framework of Operation Lesa Pátria
The man who stole autographed ball by Neymar and Chamber of Deputies during the acts of January 8 he was arrested by the Federal police (FEDERAL POLICE). The information was confirmed to Jovem Pan by the PF itself. The name of the target of the arrest warrant was not disclosed by the corporation. The arrest took place this Friday, the 17th, in the city of Sorocabanot inside São Paulo, within the scope of Operation Lesa Patria. On January 28, the man presented himself to the Federal Police of Sorocaba taking the ball autographed by the number 10 of the Brazilian national team. The object was sent back to Brasilia, after cooperation between the PF and the Legislative Police Department (Depol) of the Chamber of Deputies. The person responsible for the theft was one of those detained by the PF in the 8th phase of the Operation Les Fatherland, which tries to identify the participants, promoters and financiers of the acts of January 8, when the Praça dos Três Poderes was invaded and destroyed by hundreds of demonstrators. The item was part of a gift given by the Santos delegation during a solemn session celebrating the club’s centenary in 2012, when Neymar still played for the São Paulo team.
