Arminia Bielefeld and 1. FC Nürnberg split 2-2 in the 25th round of the 2nd German Bundesliga.
In the parallel game, Heidenheim crowned themselves the new leaders with a 5:2 win over Karlsruher SC.
ÖFB legionnaires and Bielefeld concede compensation late
The Bielefeld start furiously in the encounter. In the 6th minute they already took the lead – Klos delivered an assist from the left. Ex-Salzburger Okugawa takes the ball in the center by direct acceptance and converts confidently.

The KSC goes in front early through goals from Jensen (14th) and Kaufmann (23rd).
Just before halftime, the Heidenheimer turn the game. Kleindienst scores twice in a very short time (38′, 45+1′).
Shortly after the restart, Kleindienst completed the comeback with a header and put together a hat-trick (49′).
The Torfestspiele continue in Heidenheim. Pick converted the ball from afar to make it 4-2 for Heidenheim (62′). Sessa follows up with a long-range shot in the 88th minute to make it 5:2.
Kobald plays through for Karlsruhe on Friday evening.
Thanks to the victory, the Heidenheimers take over the lead in the table at least one point ahead of Darmstadt with 50 points. However, they can improve on Saturday against Kaiserslautern.
With 34 points, KSC is in 8th place in the secure midfield.
