Blogger “Zen” said that Americans are jealous that in Russia the decree is paid
A Russian travel blogger who often travels abroad spoke about facts from the life of Russians that are not in the United States and that Americans envy. She shared her opinion on the personal blog “Like Travel Travel” on the platform “Zen”.
The girl assured that the Americans are jealous that the Russians can ask their parents for help: we are talking about raising children, as well as the financial aspect. According to the blogger, Russian grandparents are happy to babysit their grandchildren and also help with money. A distinctive feature of the American mentality is the late creation of a family and a successful career, and it is customary to leave small children with a nanny.
“The second fact that Americans envy is a paid decree of a year and a half. In America, women go to work after only three months, so as not to lose their jobs and lose their professional skills. Therefore, they give birth closer to the age of 40, when they have proven themselves, reached the desired status and earned money for a worthy decree, ”the Russian woman revealed another reason for envy.

The latest fact was the fact that Russians own a large amount of real estate, for example, summer cottages, land plots, garages and apartments. The blogger noticed that in Russia it is customary to think about the inheritance of a child when he was not yet born, while Americans prefer to rent a house rather than buy and pass it on to children.
“Therefore, Americans are surprised how, with such significantly lower salaries in comparison with them and significantly higher interest rates on loans, Russians have a lot of real estate. Moreover, not only for living, but also for renting out, ”she added.
Earlier in December 2022, the blogger named the habits of Americans that Russians lack. So, she was delighted that in the United States they are more relaxed about their appearance – Americans are used to wearing clothes in which they will be as comfortable as possible, even if the combination of styles and colors “looks tasteless and terrible from the outside.”
