Pensions: spontaneous demonstrations in several cities in France after the announcement of 49.3

As in the capital, spontaneous rallies were organized in several cities of the country to denounce the use of 49.3 by the government in order to pass the controversial pension reform.

The 49.3 on the pension reform, initiated on March 16 by Elisabeth Borne, definitely does not pass for the opponents of the project. If in the wake of the announcement a rally was organized near the Palais Bourbon to denounce the use of the article of the Constitution which allows the government to force the text through, other cities in the country are not not left out.

Thus in Gironde, the inter-union gathered on the alleys of Tourny in Bordeaux, where a hundred strikers are present. “The government has chosen 49.3, we answer them amplification of the balance of power”, according to a demonstrator quoted by France Bleu Gironde.

In Rouen, around 500 demonstrators gathered in front of the city’s courthouse. “The sequel is coming” claim some, as reported by France Bleu Normandie.

In Dijon, several trade unions are present on the Place de la République according to France Bleu Bourgogne.
