Gustavo Daniel Firmapaz had already been twice sentenced to effective prison for the attacks he carried out on his former partner and mother of his children and this Thursday he received a third sentence, of 8 months in effective prison, after he did not agree to an Abbreviated Trial on past March 8.
On this occasion, he was accused of “Minor injuries aggravated by the relationship in the context of intrafamily and gender violence, damage and violation of the real residence.”
In the early hours of March 6, Firmapaz entered the fund of the house where his ex-partner and their children reside, in Villa Aberastain, Pocito. Next to the woman was a brother of Firmapaz, who tried to stop him when the attacker, after kicking down the back door, entered the home and pounced on his ex-partner.
The violent man then attacked his brother with a pipe, while the woman managed to go out into the street and ask the neighbors for help, who called 911. When the police arrived, they found the two men still fighting. Gustavo Daniel was arrested and his brother was hospitalized.
Firmapaz has already been imprisoned twice for assaulting his ex-partner. One in 2021 and another, last year. On both occasions he received a sentence of 6 months in prison. Since he did not agree to an abbreviated trial on March 8 for this third episode, the hearing was held today, Thursday. And the sentence he received was another 8 months in prison.
