It’s not the first time that the singer of Cuban descent is involved in controversies related to sexual abuse, although it has also been known of the unfriendly treatment that he has had with some of his followers.
Sexual abuse against Daiana Guzmán
In 2010when Kalimba was 28 years old, was accused of sexually abusing Daiana Guzmán, a young woman who was 17 years old at the time and that, according to her statements, she was hired as an aide-de-camp to work at the Budah Bar in Chetumal on December 20 of that year.

On January 27 of that same year, it was determined that there was insufficient evidence to convict the singer and he was released. Ten years later, in an interview with Yordi Rosado, Kalimba assured that it was Daiana who proposed to have sex, but he would have refused.

Just a few weeks ago, the singer of ‘Tocando bottom’ He was accused of being rude to one of his fans, who asked him for a photo in a restaurantwhere she works.
Through Twitter, the young woman identified as Gabriela Quintanilla shared that she spoke to the singer in Spanish, however he only answered her in English.
“Then I asked him for a photo and he said yes, but I wanted to work more than he wanted to be in the photothen when I check his ig, I saw that he had made a comment that ‘sometimes he wishes phones didn’t have cameras when he feels tired’”, wrote the young woman.
To her surprise, Kalimba responded to the text, pointing out that it was nothing personal against her, and that she entered speaking English because there was pure “gringo” on the site. However, the singer finished off with the following message:
“You didn’t take care of me, a gringa was taking care of me, do you remember? I make my pesos singing, when you like there are shows”, for which he was harshly criticized on social networks, since the case went viral.
