The European Prosecutor's Office also archives the case against Ayuso's brother for the masks

The European Public Prosecutor’s Office against Fraud has decided to close the case on the alleged embezzlement of european funds in the supply contract for 250,000 masks FFP2-3 for 1,512,500 euros to the Community of Madrid. In April 2020the Community of Madrid awarded 1.5 million euros to the company Priviet Sportive, owned by Daniel Alcazar, childhood friend of the family, to buy masks. The internal power struggle in the PP revealed that the brother of the regional president had intervened in the operation and received a commission from the company for his role in the entire process.

The Community of Madrid recognized that Tomás Díaz Ayuso received a total of 283,000 euros from this company, but only 67,000 were attributable to this operation.

In June of last year the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor Spanish decided to file the case on understanding, among other things, that it had not been proven that Isabel Díaz Ayuso had intervened in the process to benefit her brother. “He has not intervened in the procedure” company recruiter who paid a commission to his own brother.
