On the occasion of the hydraulic and road work that is carried out on 501 avenue from 131 to 155, the Municipality of La Plata reported cuts and diversions in vehicular circulation as of today. In turn, drivers were asked to avoid the area if possible.
As reported, there will be a total road block at the intersections of 501 avenue with 138, 139, 140 and 140 bis streets.
Those who need to circulate through the area in an ascending direction must do so by 138 street to 492 and by this to 140 bis, and then resume 501.
Regarding the descending direction, drivers will be able to go down street 140 bis to 492 and for this to 138, where they will be able to resume 501.
With respect to public transport, the units of the North and 273 lines that circulate in the area will make the aforementioned detour and continue with their usual route, in both directions. It is important to point out that users will be able to use the stop before and the one after the one located in the intervened section.
Both the cuts and the diversions will remain in force 24 hours a day and for an approximate period of one month, it was anticipated.
The 501 avenue work is executed by the municipality and seeks to improve the connections between Hernández and Gorina. It includes hydraulic sanitation, road widening, paving, patching, lighting and horizontal demarcation, it was reported.
