Since the end of January, the participants have been inside the Love Island villa and have done everything to find their great love. The program has offered highs and lows, laughter and tears as well as love and friendship. In Friday’s episode, we got to follow the final three couples on their romantic dates and the contestants’ last hours in the Dominican Republic.
The last contestants left in the house were Nicci Hernestig23, together with Andreas Deak26, Frida Hartman20, together with Emil Renmarker21, and Celine Axman21, paired with Adrian Podde32. That all three couples have found love was self-evident, the question was which love couple won the viewers’ hearts.
The last episode has been broadcast today and the winner of the program has been revealed. Adrian and Celine were the couple who won the hearts of the viewers, but according to Adrian, it was not what they expected. They just hoped their love would shine through the window.
– I think that the viewers have seen our journey and that we have had a tough time, but that we have solved it, says Celine in an interview with Nyheter24.
Adrian agrees with Celine and adds some thoughts.
– Then I also hope that they have seen that we are very genuine and our love as well.
What happens to the Love Island couple now?
Adrian and Celine are both excited about coming home. When the question comes up, about what will happen to the couple now that they leave the tropical country, they are full of anticipation and answer with joy. They have both missed the family and the food in Sweden.
– I will eat kebab pizza with mild sauce, I have said that all along. And meeting family and friends above all. I have missed them very much, says Adrian in the interview.
What will Adrian Podde and Celine Axman do with the money?
Now it’s not just love that the couple wins, but also a winning sum of half a million kroner. When Nyheter24 asked what the couple will do with the money, they agree.
– There will probably be a trip abroad together. I’m going to the Maldives in September and maybe Adrian will be willing to hook up. If it is that he has learned to dive, Celine laughs.
