Serious death in Vienna: On Friday, a 26-year-old man fell from the 4th floor of an apartment in the Alsergrund district. Witnesses saw the fall and called the rescue team. Despite resuscitation measures by the Vienna professional rescue service, the man died at the scene of the accident.
As reported by the Vienna police, the 28-year-old roommate of the deceased stated on site that he himself had jumped out of the window under the influence of drugs. The roommate was arrested for the time being, as third-party negligence cannot be ruled out. The investigators hope to clarify the circumstances of death through a judicial autopsy, the securing of evidence and the questioning of witnesses and the accused.
