The community chief of La Quinta pointed out that since his administration “we have prioritized that relationship, we maintain the roads very well and, in turn, we support all the producers.”
In the same way, the mayor of General Paz expressed it before this medium, Juan Manuel Alvarezwho affirmed that between his management and agriculture “the relationship is very good, of permanent dialogue and support.”
“Now we are going through a difficult climatic situation with the drought and we are working together with the Province to see what we can collaborate on,” said the community chief, who highlighted the investment in the roads during the visit that Axel Kicillof made to his district. “The investment that is being made by the National and Provincial governments is historic, with stabilized roads and consolidation, but the climate situation is really serious,” concluded.
In this sense, the Province announced that it will allocate 2 billion pesos within the framework of the third stage of the Strategic Plan for the Improvement of Rural Roadsaimed at the repair and consolidation of the key routes for the development of production in the interior of the province.
As reported from the Ministry of Agrarian Development in Buenos Aires, in this new edition priority will be given to all those works that improve circulation conditions in accesses to tambos and schools in the rural area.
Through this plan, the Agrarian Development portfolio provides financing to municipalities, through subsidies, for the acquisition of materials, machinery and implements that allow the repair and consolidation of rural roads for an extension of up to approximately 12 kilometers and a Estimated amount of up to 25 million pesos per section to be improved.
While the Ministry of Infrastructure is in charge of carrying out larger-scale works through the Directorate of Roads and, as reported, the total amount to be invested by the Province this year represents almost 60 percent of the total collected by municipalities for road tax during 2022.
