All Netflix users have recently been living the topic of changes in the way of sharing an account and new subscription plans with ads. It is very possible that the authorities of the streaming service decided to take advantage of the confusion and quietly introduced an option to the platform that may cause some controversy.
Netflix will let you see when and where your family logged into the account
If you use Netflix, there is a very high probability that you share your account with several other people. Most often these are friends or family, but as you probably know very well, soon only residents of the same household will be able to use the platform under one account. Everything indicates that this is why the service has introduced a new option that gives insight into the options for accessing the profile.
More specifically, a tab appeared in the Netflix settings “manage access and devices”. As soon as we enter it, we will receive a full history of logins of specific users to the account. To make that not enough, The platform allows you to see not only who accessed Netflix from which profile, but also when (date and time) and from what device.

The new update has caused a lot of discussion, and some of it concerns privacythat some people sharing the account would like to keep. What’s more, in a rather joking tone, it is said that the implemented option will allow parents to check whether their child is actually doing homework, or maybe watching movies and series from the library of the streaming service.
